This week's Techie Tip is PollEverywhere. Recently at Elm City Middle we hosted an iMovie night where we had the audience use their smart phone to vote for their favorite student iMovies. It was the highlight of the night.
It only takes a few minutes to set up your poll. If you create an account you can edit your polls, clear them, and save them. Your audience can respond via cell phone by texting a code or through a web link. You can set a timer for your audience and show your results instantly in multiple chart forms. It was really neat to see it in action with a live audience in front of you. I know students would love to do something like this in class or even as a homework assignment. So check it out today!
